Verse of the Day – Galatians 6:2

"Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."

Galatians 6:2 (NRSV)

Prodigal Thoughts: In a similar way as is mentioned in Genesis, we were not created to journey through this thing called life all alone. We are created in the image of God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), just as they are always in community with each other, we are called to do the same. Living in community can be costly as we have to let our guard down and be vulnerable with each other. Bearing one another’s burdens means we are constantly encouraged to live our lives in truth and transparency, helping others on the journey toward Christlikeness.

Prayer for today: Today, I pray that we would be aware of the burdens of others. That we would reach out to those who are hurting or struggling, no matter what they are facing. I pray that God would use us to further build up the people of God so that we can stand unified in Christ and boldly proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.

If you need prayer, please reply and I will pray for you. If you would like to talk about this verse or have questions, I’m always open for your feedback.

God’s grace on you…
